Cross of Calvary’s Youth

Cross of Calvary has a number of programs that include something for everyone!!

Grades 9-12

  • Breakfast Club: We dive into the Word, and dig into a delicious breakfast!
    Meet each Thursday at 7:07 AM
  • A  time for our incredibly busy high schoolers to sit, eat and finally digest a wholesome breakfast before starting their day.
    • Breakfasts are always provided, and welcomed!
      If you feel you would like to share in this ministry contact Chelsey to provide a breakfast!

Jr High

  • Many different  events/nights dedicated just for our 6th – 8th grade range.
  • We are  in the process of developing a program for this age group to have monthly, or weekly fellowship
  • Girls late nighter
  • Girls all nighter
  • Gustavus Lock in
  • Guys Only Retreat

 

3rd-6th grades

  • WoW: Wonders on Wednesdays: An energetic  fellowship of our largest youth group!
    An afternoon full of snacks, games, and a study linked to our Sunday School lessons

    • Wednesdays right after school until 4:30
    • Ride bus #1 to get dropped off right at the church
    • Bring a friend!
    • Junior Choirs- begin in January
      • We meet during WoW and perform during the worship service

 

Kindergarten – 2nd grades

  • Wee-WoW  and Cherub Choir
    The same WoW program only more kids!

    • Begins in January
    • Cherub choirs – begin in January
      • Meet during WoW

Birth – Kindergarten

It is never too early to begin fulfilling the promises you made at your child’s baptism!

  • Building Bridges
    • This is a NEW program for parents to be present with their child at the earliest part of their faith walk.
      • Meet 2nd Sunday of the month
      • During Sunday School
      • In the pre-k and Kindergarten room
    • Pastor Matt and Chelsey will be leading the lesson
      • All materials provided
    • Parents will then turn and lead the lesson with their child

This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to model good faith practices to their children

You are your child’s first teacher. Teach them ‘Jesus Loves Me’ right along with their “A, B, C ’s”!
