Over the last three weeks, Cross of Calvary has sent 11 kids to Green Lake Lutheran Ministries for summer camp! During their time at camp they had lots of fun with swimming, games, crafts, Bible studies, and worship! They learned about “God on the Loose!” Wait, that sounds crazy, right? God is running loose in the world? He certainly is! In conversations with friends and neighbors, at work and school, in the tensions of political debates and interreligious dialogue, God is at work in our midst. Our kids spent the week exploring how God is on the loose in our world, especially in the places we least expect.
Look to the nations and see. Be astonished, be astounded! For a work is being done in your days, that you wouldn’t believe if you were told.
