Eric Burtness writes, “Believing is seeing.” How true that is. We see what we believe. Faith is the lens by which we view our life. So the question of “Where is your faith?” that we started the week with is very appropriate. If our faith is in what we have constructed then we have reason to worry. If our faith is in the one who is always faithful to us, our outlook will be much different. How do we know God has been faithful? Continue to count the things in your life you are thankful for. Give thanks to God for those things. In practicing this, you begin to see God’s ample care for you! That gives us the lens we need. Let the question of “What does our view look like?” guide our devotional life. Then let that question move to, “How is that working for you?”. It is amazing the view we have once we start seeing God’s amazing grace in our life!
