Opportunities to Serve

• Oversee and make arrangements for maintenance of the church and parsonage
• Direct the council on updates needed for technology and property
• Keep the council and congregation updated regarding church finances
• Direct the council regarding financial needs of the church

• Develop ways in which to engage the congregation socially and spiritually
• Provide comfort meals
• Assist Pastor in planning worship and music

• Promote the ministry of Cross of Calvary
• Offer opportunities to draw new members and engage the unchurched
• Educate the congregation on mission ministry
• Provide opportunities for the congregation to be personally involved in World Missions
• Review options for mission support and distribute funds – locally and globally

• Discuss the vision and ministry of youth programs at Cross of Calvary
• Determine the youth calendar of events
• Assist in locating and/or providing the needs of youth ministry:
  • Materials/Funds
  • Time and Energy
  • Volunteers/Chaperones
  • Transportation
  • Etc.
